bury the account in a field of potatoes :P
so as you may have noticed, i've planted some potatoes here as i didn't want to fully erase the long history of this account. why did i do this? deviantart's enthusiasm about and experimentation with ai generators is a hard pass for me. there are other reasons but this one kinda broke the camel's back what does that mean for sunstone? nothing really. it along other comics will be delivered regularly on my patreon with the queen and the woodborn and maybe even achilles shieldmaidens being made available via my webtoons account for now sunstone i will probably move to pixiv, twitter and tumblr all the relevant links added below patreon https://www.patreon.com/shiniebezial webtoon https://www.webtoons.com/en/challenge/the-queen-and-the-woodborn/list?title_no=502306 twitter https://twitter.com/stjepansejic tumblr pixiv https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/36412059 facebook https://www.facebook.com/stjepan.sejic/ instagram https://www.instagram.com/stjepansejic/ that's about it

It's not a potato, but...
I was gone for 15 years and now I'm going again. Seriously, this must have been the shortest return to a platform ever. Since I'm slow at art, I only managed to post three new deviations. As of now, that's three too many. In the spirit of @Stjepan-Sejic and his potatoes, I've replaced my original images with a senseless stand-in piece. It's just noise with a gradient overlay in my colors. Why did I do this? Because DA is going down the AI art path and even though they made that toggle that supposedly lets people opt-out, they are also building their own AI art thing. What I don't agree with is using artwork without the artists' express consent to train the AI. In this case, with the way DA handled this rollout, I don't feel there's any trust left that they won't (or haven't already) scraped their user galleries to train their AI. So, once again, I'm

DeviantArt Protect: DMCA Process Improvements
DeviantArt Protect now sends notifications for potential NFT infringement that include a direct link to OpenSea’s DMCA form, removing a layer of friction from the takedown process. Upgrade to Core for unlimited coverage with DeviantArt Protect! DeviantArt Protect was launched in 2021 to better safeguard artists’ rights, providing state-of-the-art image recognition software to notify artists of potential infringement. One of the hardest things artists have to deal with involves the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) takedown process, which on third-party marketplaces is not always easy to find or use. With this in mind, we’ve improved the notifications sent by DeviantArt Protect for non-fungible tokens (NFTs). When a notification for potential NFT infringement is received, it now includes a direct link to OpenSea’s DMCA takedown form—making it easier to fill out and file a takedown request. While art theft continues to be a problem that impacts creators across the Internet
